35MM Slides – 1960’s Farming

35MM Slides – 1960’s Farming

I found these slides in among a group from a trip to Busch Gardens Tampa. I have no idea who any of the people in these slides are, or even an exact date on the trip. My original assumption is that they were from Florida somewhere, but the Trucks labeled “Rolling Meadows, Yates City, Ill.” moved that.

Sorry they’re not in better order. It looks like the couple on the tractor visited several farms and a factory where the farm products were packaged and shipped out.

Halloween Disneyland Pictures – Day 1

Halloween Disneyland Pictures – Day 1

Our trip to Disney coincided with the beginning of the Halloween Season. As such, major portions of the park were decorated for the season.

The VERY first stop for us was my second favorite ride. The Haunted Mansion. It was decorated for “Nightmare Before Christmas,” which I thought was pretty cool.

Unfortunately, my favorite ride, Pirates of the Caribbean was closed for maintenance. But I did see this forlorn little lantern sitting on a post nearby.

During lunch, in Downtown Disney, noticed this “Police Car.” Looks pretty legal to me.

San Francisco Pictures, Alcatraz and Golden Gate

San Francisco Pictures, Alcatraz and Golden Gate

When I was in Oakland recently, I took the ferry across the bay to San Francisco. As it was still early, and not quite tourist season yet, I was able to get a ticket to Alcatraz.

As I was so early, I was able to go on the garden tour which was pretty awesome.

After nearly an hour on the Garden Tour, I finally got pictures of the most magnificent site in the city; The Golden Gate Bridge.
